The Power of the Lord's Presence
The Power of the Lord's Presence is available to the humble.
The larger the gap between the believer and God, the more space possible for satan to enter. Pride creates the gap, it is the sapping of spiritual strength.
Dwelling in the divine presence is the giving of God your most expensive time, for relationships rarely thrive on cheap time. He has first access – a daily priority.
Devotion is the abiding of trust and the ceasing from striving. (The jobs can wait until later.)
Strivings must be with Lord well before they are for the Lord.
The Lord is to become every believer's unshakeable, impenetrable and un-distractible stronghold.
Jesus is persistently more interested in your attention to Him than your activity for Him.
The believer places distance between them and sin, but never between self and God. His presence polishes the soul and challenges faith threatening sin.
There needs be a secret place, a safe place. He who seeks to reach the heights of heaven must first dwell in the low places of earth.
Envy obscurity, lay hold of it with both hands; for it is the mother of spiritual might.
Gilead is first home if war on Carmel is ever to be waged.#
The longevity of a legacy is directly correlated to the fidelity of devotion. They are parallel.
Could the noblest of service be to dwell in the Lord's presence, for this is unseen and un-honored by man.
Rest in Jesus' presence and His Spirit will rest on you.
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord. (Isaiah 11:2)
There is no telling how much power God can put in a man. ~ C.H. Spurgeon
