The Herald of Judgement

The earth's unattended problem with sin awakes the heavens. As in the days of Noah so too today.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God. (Genesis 6:9)

It is noteworthy that one man only walked with God, and the Bible repeats it 'immediately'.

The Lord said to Noah, "go into the Ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation." (Genesis 7:1)

The preaching of righteousness has and will to the final dawn precede the day of judgement.

The preaching of righteousness is the herald of judgement. (See 2 Peter 2:5)

Noah preached righteousness. The imperative is now upon us Jesus' followers and Christ's church, His bride, to do likewise.

This must be preached:

Christ hides our unrighteousness with His righteousness, He covers our disobedience with His obedience, He shadows our death with His death that the wrath of God cannot find us. ~ Henry Smith

An unrepentant mankind will not discern the last judgement day anymore than the first one.

This is what we sadly expect, ... although grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness. (Isaiah 26:10)

The Last Word:

Where there is no fear of God righteousness is slain.
