Guilt's Graveyard#
Guilt is a hook to the soul, as much as it is a savior to the soul. As the soul is saved Jesus removes the hook.
When the enemy messes with your joy, he wants your strength. Remind him, you are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Don’t waste your life in the graveyard of guilt dealing with corpses of the past. God's mercy is more than enough.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered. You can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand. (Psalm 139:17–18).
All of God's innumerable thoughts toward you are filled with good for you. Too often, you compare the things you don’t like in yourself with the things you do like in someone else.
Your thoughts for you have become ones that aren't good. But, Jesus is the mind renewer.
A man is formed by what informs him.
Comparison leads to crazy thinking. Instead of comparing, know that you are enough as you are, well equipped for your path. Hold on.
Jesus came to give you life abundantly. He doesn’t want you to just barely get by, He wants you to thrive and flourish in Him.
As you look to Jesus in every circumstance, as you turn your hands to His tasks for you, draw on Him for affirmation and success because He gives true wisdom - and without finding fault.#
Next time satan reminds you of your past remind him of his future.
All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Jesus. (Colossians 2:3)
