Closing in on the Cliff of Fear?#
Long gentle thuds drone up the ledges. Your boots kick, stones fall. You draw too near the precipice - that winding, windy cliff of fear; the life of faith shrouded as that dark night of deep anxiety descends.
For those who stand at this cliff's edge, whose boots shake and eyes widen, first review the character of God.
He whose fabric is unfailing love, who is surrounded by faithfulness, speaks words that are sure, and promises that are firm - His arms are not too short, His feet do not slip.
Praise and worship lifts the soul into confidence, but still brace yourself.
Faith is not the absence of fear, it is the willingness to follow where God would lead regardless of how you feel.
Faith is God's ticket of freedom to pass through the shrouds of fear.
I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free (Psalm 119:32)
