Things Jesus did not say

Christian popularity wanes, big time. With a most compromising effort many believers seek to downgrade Christ. This 'blind help' attempts to gain more of the previous acceptance Christianity 'enjoyed'.

But Jesus did not walk or talk that way, His call still is no compromise. Jesus does not dilute His call, He does not sell a soft-serve faith. Jesus did not say:

  • be true to yourself
  • pursue your happiness and you shall find Me
  • feelings define My truth
  • mankind is smarter and wiser these days, The Bible carries less authority and cannot speak loudly into our way of life.
  • love permits all things. There is no need to change.

Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: 'The Lord knows those who are His,' and, 'Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness'. (2 Timothy 2:19)

It is not fit for the Christian to dally at the risky street corner, instead they are to be gainfully trained by righteousness.

The Last Word:

If you stand for everything, you are holding nothing.
