The Rule of Righteousness
Righteousness is as the king's new clothes to this world.
It is God's declared and delivered (at the Cross) intent that righteousness should reign. Yet, righteousness is scant, even invisible upon this earth.
The rule of righteousness must be first grasped if man is to understand where true honor lies, and where shame appears. This is a touching of our Lord's heartbeat.
To live the rule of righteousness is to be lost to the favors of this earth, and the audience of men. It is the seeking of the audience of One. (Matthew 25:23)
The rule of righteousness measures the fool, recognises the scoundrel and discerns the noble.
The upright will not sit amidst counsel of the wicked. (Psalm 1:1-3)
Righteous men pursue righteous acts, for these men have sat long, and listened well with the Lord.
Each brother or sister to the Lord, every son or daughter of the Father are to be outposts of righteousness upon this ever increasingly wicked earth. But, heaven is the home of righteousness.
Righteousness is as much the way a disciple travels as it is their destination.
Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, for then all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)
Who would sit at Jesus' feet before they would serve at His shop? Is not righteousness first learned at the scarred feet of Jesus?
