The Promise of Dawn
Light mocks darkness, for it shall always return.
It is when morning dawns and evening fades that the Lord calls forth songs of joy. (Psalm 65:8b)
Dawn is God's pleasing invitation to raise the heart to Him.
To miss the dawn is to miss the sweet songs of birds, and the joy our Lord calls forth to each heart.

God's recreation of the new day. ('Morning has Broken' ~ Eleanor Farjeon)
Each daybreak promises a morning joy.
As new daylight spreads a divine manna feeds human spirit. Darkness is defeated as once again it recedes.
A bright sunrise blesses the day, and warms the soul.
As the sun peeks above the horizon it smiles all is well in the heavenlies, our Lord still rules.
PLEASE NOTE - that day comes when the righteous will no longer see dawn, for darkness will be no more.
There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign forever and ever. (Revelation 22:5)
