Christmas with a Twist

Born as a baby in a shed, God visits earth. He chose a stable and not a Sheraton. The back story is identical both yesterday and today, this reveals the strands of Christmas.

There is so much behind Christmas but God didn't brag. Six strands were woven together under the heavens as the angels sung.

Christmas' unique fabric:

  • shows His love through all generations
  • demonstrates His faithfulness forever
  • declares His righteousness stands firm in both the heavens & earth
  • praises the wonder of salvation
  • cements the necessity of forgiveness, and
  • rolls out God's eternally perfect intentions.

At Jesus' birth He held nothing like a king, but upon His return He will be the only King.

Terrors will cease, jealousies shall fade and evil fails.

... that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:10-11)

The Last Word:

The solution to humanity's greatest problem of sin required more than divine intervention, it required divine presence. ~ Rev. Craig Roberts
