That Uncommon Favor
Blessings are light in a world noted nightly for its burdens
Those who receive a blessing gain an uncommon favor.
God will give a man the world who seeks none of it.
It is such a man who holds no competitor in his heart to God.
This man will pray first the desires of Heaven, for God's heart and his are becoming as one.
He sees as God sees, hears as God hears, and loves as God loves - righteousness has become his guide.
This unusual man who desires nought of this world has truly found his fill.
He holds lightly to the things of this world lest they trap him from the things of heaven.
He has chosen to be strange this day for the Lord's sake, has become familiar/indeed comfortable with Heaven.
He is blessed above many men, he tastes and lives in his home before he enters it.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. (Matthew 5:8)
