Strength still comes
Soul Snack S3 ... Dawn Delights
This is what the Lord says: "If I have not established my covenant with the day and night and the fixed laws of heaven and earth ..." (Jer 33:25)
The pleasing soft hues of light peep through the tree canopy. The cool clear air sustains a pastel orange tinge, the horizon barely aglow. A new day is announced.
The above promise, spoken untold eons previously has not worn out. It has neither wearied nor has it faded.
The Word that wrought this world still wakes it!
The Word of action is still active!
The Word of wonderment, still wonderful!
In a life that is fleeting and flecked (splattered?) with difficulty, this Word is constant.
The same good intent that nailed the promises of eternity to a tree 2000 years ago is still in this day.
Promises of hope and goodwill, the security of an eternal future and unrestrained grace, the offer of mercy and not judgement are equally here today.
The faithfulness and strength at the dawn of this world is the same faithfulness and strength ready for us at the dawn of this day.
Today’s Soul Snippet:
The things of this world are always fleeting and failing, the things of His world aren't.
