Standing on Credit Card Grace
ALL IS GRACE. To much contemporary Christian thinking, grace has become a license.
Calvary has issued plastic card permission, bearing the owner's name, signature and photo identification. This they then stand on.
To the believer who thirsts for fornication before they hunger for forgiveness, grace is the perfect license to hold.
Yep - grace permits sin without accountability, conscience or discipline.
Modern pulpits have turned the preaching of love into the preaching of license. BUT grace is no more credit to sin than heaven will ever suspend all truth.
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning, so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? (Romans 6:1-2)
Yes - ALL IS GRACE to the repentant heart, but sin continues as a slippery banana peel to hell for the unrepentant.
