The absence of grace will not suffice. The murmur of self-will is to be shouted down. The din of indulgence is to be turned off.
His commission to His committed is a gentler way of life. There is a call to giving prior to receving and a step to living by loving.
In this no compromise faith, nails delivered His blood and from His blood flows excruciating pain. Yet two metres above Calvary there were still no impediments to His tenderness.
The call to reciprocate the kind magnifence of His steel suspended Son is as speakable today as it was two millenia ago.
Contained within each one of us is the seed that His Holy Spirit implanted, to see well for another, do good by another and favour them above self!
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it,
when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor,
"Come back later; I'll give it tomorrow"—
when you now have it with you. Prov 3:27-28
