Soul Snack 8/143 ... Weather Words
Rain must fall. Wind must blow. Lightning must strike.
The natural creation order must function well. Sustained only by The Word (Hebs 1:3); only He can interrupt it.
A watered earth is life renewed. A wind blown earth is God's 'towel' to dry the ensuing damp. Wind 'mops' rain as the sun returns. All executed continuosly in His perfect order, minute by minute and day by day.
Dark clouds He replaces. Threatening skies become inviting skies.
Stormy seas become calm. Trees return to stillness and havoc is replaced by harmony.
Such is the Son who still interrupts storms.
He promotes good through storms. He never leaves a storm unattended.
There is always a pleasant 'after' subsequent to any storm. Peace arrives with new growth too.
He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. Mk 4:39
The Son who calms storms by powerful words is the Son who has the same powerful words to calm me .
His words will replace my havoc with His harmony.
No weather can ever defeat His words.
His words too are for 'my weather'.
