Heaven has calculated with great care His paradigm of paradox, to both reveal and hide the knowledge that may make sense of life.
The least, the lost, the last and the lonely; they know little honou!. Lives without personal power, lives without an advocate, lives severed from well being can be the place of the weak. Yet, these lives are strong!
Conversely honour is given to the strong, promotion to the self confident and position to the acceptable. Yet their lives are weak.
Heaven works in paradoxes, earth works in power and popularity.
Yet it is the empty that have literally 'space' for Jesus. In life It is the unfulfilled who are open to divine infilling. It is the powerless who will receive power from on high. (They are unable to get power from earth.) It is the unpopular that He will see.
Take a moment, have pity for the powerful, the self-confident and the acceptable! There may be far less 'space' within them for God and His only Son. Lacking in emptiness, no void to fill, no place for His power or His grace. They will miss out on the sheer joy knowing Him.!
I cannot be filled until I have been emptied. Emptiness is openness.
