The naked know
My time for impact is short.
My earthly presence is guaranteed as insecure.
I am impotently and finitely contained within time.
I can exercise no ability or exert no control over my assured mortality.
My life is lived out with God as my complete witness. He is my perfect observer with perfect 20/20 vision. (In fact He is the only one who actually wants to look at me all the time!)
The sins my heart hides, the sins my heart cherishes are still in His view. From His penetrating light there is no fleeing.
Completly exposed before heaven, naked in body, soul and spirit - the wise can only number their days aright.
Teach us to number our days aright,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Ps 90:12
My days have never belonged to me - they have always belonged to Him.
