Have you ever waited?

Ever wondered why events don't transpire in the order you expected?

Have you ever waited for a:
  •  a spouse to be found,
  •  time of favour, rest or goodwill,
  •  promotion or a house sale,
  •  storm to end,
  •  an illness to cure,
  •  a market to change,
  •  a darkness to rise or,
  •  day just to begin and end?
Have you ever longed for a change of season, a financial breakthrough or simply answered prayer?

Have you ever thirsted for the presence or absence of another?

Waiting delivers countless advantage to the one who is patient, indeed impotent.

I wait because I am unable to change what heaven has decided. Everything awaits its appointed time.

God always acts at His perfectly appointed times.

Sadly The Bible indicates  that animals are wiser are about God's appointments than man. (Jer 8:7)

I can neither promote a divine appointment, or prevent it but I can forfeit it! (see also Jonah 2:8/ Mt 25:13/28-30,45-46)

This is His simple, good and eternally rewarding faith appointment with me, to wait for His praise.

Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God. 1 Cor 4:5
