Gandhi's 7 Sins
Soul Snack 8/108 ... Gandhi's 7 Sins
Gandhi once reflected that there were 7 deadly sins in the world:
- wealth without work,
- pleasure without conscience,
- knowledge without character,
- politics without principle,
- commerce without morality,
- science without humanity,
- worship without sacrifice ....
- to live with the Divine but not to love like the Divine,
- to express faith but live without trust,
- to receive but not to give,
- to be forgiven but not to forgive,
- to hold the truth, but not to share it,
- to claim justice but not to give it, and finally
- to hold His crucifixion for me without crucifying myself for Him.
