This heaven-hewn shaft pierces like a sword and battles as a warrior, not to bring death but to bring life upon its entry. It seeks to illumine blindness and guide for life.
The darkness of the soul denies it, the clouded mind resists it and the pride of self confronts it. In fact pride is by far the light's greatest enemy. Persistent pride the guarantor of blindness.
Everything requires light to live well and see. All people need The Light to live forever.
There is a sun that lights my world with-out! There is The Son who lights my world within. The Son opens the eyes and lifts the veil of darkness.
Enjoy the earthly sun but engage The Eternal Son.
