Soul Snack S9/20 ... Island or Identity?

'The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands'. Ps 19:1

Surely the view from the Throne of Grace offers an unparalleled panorama of all His handiwork.

The breathtaking tapestries of the eternal lights, illuminate the endless canopy of His starry hosts. He enjoys the inexplicable beyond our universe and the unseeable within it. All His work brings exceeding pleasure to its creator.

No creation has ever arisen from lethargy, no satisfaction was ever derived through laziness. No pleasure is gained without an active willingness.

God has neither been negligent nor lazy. He has constructed for Himself that which will bring Him great pleasure. He has acted most wisely for His well being. His desire to relate to His world is in His well being.

My attention affirms Him, my praises encourage Him, and my prayers never tire Him.

Amidst the unfathomable vastness of His handiwork, He sees me and delights in knowing me. He made me not an island but an identity. Islands are lonely, identities are known. My identity is so wonderfully and permanently found in Him. His throne is pleased with me. He is so happy when I am within His view.
