Mind Grace
Soul Snack 5/10 ... Mind Grace!
In this world it is so simple to think 'criticism' and not think 'Christ'.
The mind has so much power to control the health and directions in relationships, or create danger and destruction across them.
The ability to find good in another is necessary for any lasting friendship.
The ability to see from the other's perspective without asserting your own is a sign of emotional maturity.
The ability to see through a person's responses to why they acted or spoke is a depth few reach.
To have these abilities is to have a mind of grace.
This is not mind over matter but rather the mind does matter!
It is the mind Jesus has towards me.
Jesus has a mind 'to mind me'. I can have the mind of Jesus and 'mind' another today too.
I mind someone when I think well of them, and refuse to harbour ill against them.
Hmm ... I think I also may just 'mind' me when I do this!
