I have forever sinned. I wish I had never sinned.
God cleanses me of one sin and almost instantly, even 'selflessly', I give Him the opportunity to serve me again!
Sin introduces me, the relentless sinner, to the one of relentless compassion.
As one who requires infinite forgiveness, I begin to appreciate the infinite forgiver.
His tenderness is a triumph to my soul. His faithfulness is the certainty to my good future.
Each morning I arise to receive His compassion.
Each morning I receive His forgiveness afresh.
My sins have sought to consume me, but His love never will.
"Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness." (Lam 3:22-23)
