Glory thieves
Soul Snack 93/11 ... Glory thieves
A war in heaven left heaven significantly less populated (Rev. 12:7-8). There was a glory seeker who desired that which alone belonged to God (Ez 28:11-19). As with satan, sadly glory seekers also possess the native ability of attracting others to them. Death can only result for all.
God will no more share His glory with another, than an unredeemed man will bend the knee to Heaven.
God will neither share Himself nor His home with glory seekers. God is correctly a jealous God. It is the proud who seek glory, therefore it is the humble that God seeks.
God will not permit into heaven those who would seek to again steal His position from Him.
The proud are glory thieves.
This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word. (Is 66:2b)
