I long to plunge the soulful depths

and feel the joy of heaven unwrapped -

I seek to peer past pearly gates to

see the seat of my loving mate -

I want to pray into the deep unknown

reserved for the humble grown -

The joy of faith I hold to share,

its breadth of love is always there -

There is no place that I would be,

save seeking Jesus upon my knees -

He will not shout nor harm my way,

within His love I am here to stay.
