A Ratbag to Reason
Soul Snack 179/13 ... A Ratbag to Reason
Has insanity washed my soul that I believe the dead now live?
Have I become a ratbag to reason that I believe I will be raised from death?
Has my mind morphed into the acutely bizarre as I thirst for the stripping of the carnal?
Now the bright lights flash in my eyes to my annoyance, and the bell's toll disturbs my soul.
Faith is belief in the unseen, that which does not accommodate reason.
When life is based upon reason, the possibility of life is removed. ~ anon
Faith based decisions and faith modified behavior have become excrement to the educated Christian mind, as much as it already is to the non-Christian mind. The flesh screams reason while the spirit begs faith.
Reason does not invite the shaping of the soul or the subduing of the flesh, and it beckons little righteousness. The task of faith is to defeat the desires of reason.
The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing! (Gal 2:20)
Man has grasped the entire world but still fails to reason a fraction of Heaven.
Today's Soul Snippet:
"Faith is marching through life to the tune of a divine drum."
