Soul Snack 9/78 ... Pristine People - B

God makes the valueless valuable and the menial meaningful. He has been doing this for a long time!

On that day HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the LORD's house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar. Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. Zech 14:20-21

God gives value by calling the valueless into His service. He does what none other can or will do.

That which has been trash becomes treasured. He does this by the deliberate setting aside for His work.
He even identifies the identifiers of cattle as His, and too sets them aside.

He raises the low, to assist in His sanctuary - to high tasks.

Purity God pursues.

The seed of sin always lays fallow, waiting for a watering. God wants to make me pure, but still I want to make me polluted.

Yet before God there is no place for impurity. To receive His calling, His branding and His elevation into His service is to receive His purity.

He prescribes purity for me, and then places me pure before Him. I purely belong to Him.

His passion, His pleasure - my purity.
