Soul Snack 9/72 ... Where do I look?

As the grave craves death (Prov 30:16) so too is sin never satisfied. With a single minded devotion sin seeks multiplication alone. No expense spared, no effort unused in its consistently seductive activities.

The more a man sins, the more his spirit is numbed to the quickening life-giving Spirit of Christ. The more his spirit pursues sin, the further His Spirit flees. The life-giving shame of sin is now informed by heaven no more.

The greater the distance from His Throne of Grace, the less aware a man is to His goodness. The greater the blindness becomes. The deeper the darkness he descends into.

Sin is constantly looking over me. He wants me constantly looking to Him. This is how He protects me.

I choose vulnerability or victory. I can look at sin or a saviour!

If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it. Gen 4:7
