Were these 4 un-noticed? The soldiers too busy gambling for a seamless garment. The crowd too preoccuppied in baying for blood.
Above the masses (He had always been above them ...) His nail secured suspension no impediment for this messiah. While others were engaged in themselves, He was still engaged in others.
They in their torment stood at His tortured feet during His torment. Still He saw - still He cared!
When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your son," and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that time on, this disciple took her into his home. Jn 19:26-27
Surely Easter shows that my pain He always sees.
His pain has never obscured Him to mine. Likewise my pain is to never obscure me to another's.
In pain the only place to stand is at the foot of His cross with His blood covering me.
