I have been in prison. It was only once. It was only for 45 minutes.Inmates are still, yet they are restless. Confined, they have no where to go. At such times thoughts can become different. Little opportunity for planning an immediate future, or even for some a long term one. Tomorrow will be the same as today. The place, the faces even the air will be the same.
Being confined is an ideal opportunity for spiritual reflection because the normal items of life and pre-occupation are largely removed.
Jeremiah is confined, he is under guard. What is an impediment to Jeremiah is an asset to God.

Being confined can arrive within a myriad of circumstances. A God without boundaries can never be confined. He can always reach me - no matter where or who I am. In fact He wants to do this.
