Soul Snack 9/43 ... Paradise's Polish
His estimation of heaven had changed. Heaven's estimation of him hadn't. Now, willingly he sat. As always heaven willingly and quietly spoke. But this time he could hear. This supernatural relationship had wandered with the careless meander of a snail's silken trail, across his 6 decades. In this time of poorly attended faith, pain had repeatedly proselytised his soul, drawing him afresh to grace.
During the times of simple pleasures and absent pain, he drifted. No panacea required, so no panacea sought.
But, the dispeller of drifting would soon return as sure as the tide.
Pain had always been productive for him. It provided the power to pursue grace.
Pain polishes a person for His presence. His presence polishes a person for eternal pleasure.
... that you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 2 Peter 1:3-4
