Why sing in the rain?

Rains flood souls, even more than streams.

Very few escape life untouched, unblemished or maybe destroyed - as was Job's experience.

... give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Why follow the Lord's guidance to give thanks in all circumstances? Firstly we must be obedient, but there is too an unspoken/untaught value to raise the eyes while bending the knees.

To praise the Lord despite the hardship/s peels back another layer just waiting to be 'seen'. There opens a life portal revealing a divine richness, for to sing in the rain permits pain's negativity and malaise no crown.

Learning to sing-in-the-rain is gaining a settling of the soul.

The Last Word:

The soul is thus afforded a new and real wealth today, and tomorrow you will say thanks forever.
