God is fully dedicated to me being new. This is why He guides me, blesses me, teaches me and renews me. This is why He invites me into His presence, to re-new me.
God's renewals will come as we walk in His paths.
Often we make New Year's resolutions in the rewarding hope of self-improvement. The following points daily included on your prayer list are guaranteed from heaven for self- improvement. Renewal will be yours.
My prayers always reach His throne (Rev 8:1-5), and He will answer me. He desires to answer my prayers too for renewal, you can be assured of this.
- Daily devote self to be close to Jesus
- Rise when Jesus wakes me. He wants to talk to me. (Is 50:4b)
- Approach Jesus correctly. Start with praise.(Ps 100:4). It matters very much to Him, how I approach Him. (Eccl 5:1-3)
- Daily seek 'solitary space' with Jesus. (Lk 5:16)
- Seek His pleasure above mine. (Lk 22:42)
- Pursuit of righteous pathways in 08. (Prov 3:5-6)
- To be an instrument of peace in 08. (1 Peter 3:9)
- Seek fruit bearing before I seek fun. (Jn 15:16)
- To 'carry the torch' for God's good defense (Ps 45:17), in this world that so easily blames Him. (Ps 116:5)
- To not miss receiving and giving grace.
- May my influence be always gracious and helpful.
- To not love this world so much that I may not hear Jesus' voice or miss His call.
- To sparkle in 'my land' like jewels in a crown for Jesus. To be attractive and beautiful for God. (Zech 9:16b)
Now ENJOY the renewal that Jesus has for you. Be great in 08.
