Heaven's Christmas Signature
2 Samuel 7:16 reports our good Lord's promises to King David ... your house and your kingdom will last forever before Me; your throne will be established forever.
What the Old Testament heralds, the New Testament continues and concludes. The flow of the Old Testament is accurate, and is developed not lost in the New Testament. So, from 2 Samuel 7:16 we wind the clock forward nearly a millennia to Mary, who is God's favored woman of all time.
Luke records in 1:28... the angel went to her and said 'you are highly favored! The Lord is with you'.
Mary becomes troubled and a reassuring Gabriel spoke again to her in Luke 1:30... do not be afraid Mary, you have found favor with God. Twice 'favored'.
Mary humbly responded to the visitation of the angel Gabriel... I am the Lord's servant, may it be to me as you have said. (Luke 1:38)
Mary was chosen as the vehicle that would convey the Messiah into this world for His redemptive assignment.
Mary’s favor was so unique and extraordinary that no other woman has ever conceived (by the power of the Holy Spirit) without the normal biological process.
The redemptive story of the entire human race cannot be fully told without making mention of the Virgin Mary.
The Last Words:
'IMPOSSIBLE' is God's signature.
"The impossible is available to those who rely on the eternal."
PLEASE NOTE DEAR READER: The Holy Spirit via these two quoted Gospels has made Mary noteworthy, but she is not to be worshiped, praised, venerated, prayed to or be celebrated. There is no mother of heaven or mother to nature.
