Reclaiming the Children & Youth
Children see heaven not only because they are innocent, but also incompetent. ~ Brennan Manning
God has written His own divine youth project. Its purpose is to keep safe the young ones, then as adults they may not fail or fall.
The Lord future-proofs children:
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
Tomorrow's adult is best secured today, for:
God's truths are sweet to young minds, before the days of doubt and distress arrive.
Teach these following verses to your children, your grandchildren or even your great grandchildren. These are God's pathways, they will never lead children to harm and always shield from injury. Purity and protection is their goal.
- I will set before my eyes no vile thing (Psalm 101:2b)
- How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. (Psalm 119:9)
- Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”. (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
- flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. (2 Timothy 2:22)
It is the youth who rejoice in their vigor, are blind to life's terrors and fear not the day of judgement. They fly as eagles and fight as bears.
Let their affections and energies be tethered to the Lord, that an ignorant heart does not lead them astray.
