Putty in God's hands
The potter receives equal joy in the process as in the product.
Each day God devotes Himself to the shaping of us. This work He does not neglect. We trust in His skillful hands.
God's hands fashion us for help, not harm. It brings joy to Him to work with us. God, full of gentle care delivers His perfect craftsmanship. It is with this goodness our Father lovingly shapes us.
The experiences of the day, the blessings and the burdens, the chance encounters and even random words all contribute to His handiwork.
The product of our final perfection is guaranteed. God still wants to see each perfected, reflecting His image.
He already sees the finest of results.
“But now, O Lord, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You are our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hands". (Isaiah 64:8)
The Last Word:
Our only contribution is trusting.
