Pushed for purpose...
Soul Snack 9/115 ... Throne Down!
Commissioned to call was his omission no longer. Three unforgettable days as a submariner left him as discarded refuse from a fish's belly on a mediterranean shoreline.
Now on dry land and with a responsive heart, Jonah heard from God again. Jonah knew Nineveh was to be his goal because it was God's goal. Total impotence in life's storms had led Jonah now to total obedience when life was calm.
God's love had held onto this rebel, repaired their relationship and then released Jonah. The sinner, the sinker and even the spewed finally becomes the speaker. God will always act out of love before He acts out of judgement.
Jonah preaches with exceptional success to Nineveh with an ancient acclamation still unrivalled today -all are converted from sin. The king leaves his throne and all the people follow.

The king was much smarter than Jonah. He knew that when God calls, i'ts time to get off his throne. Jonah had to be pushed off his throne with literally an Alimighty shove. The King of Nineveh only had to hear the truth!
God always has a higher and better purpose for me than I do! I find it when I too would rise from my throne!
