Refuge from the Cancel Culture
I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have drawn you with a loving kindness. (Jeremiah 31:4)
The too loud and too common faces of this earth carry no inkling of righteousness. The gentle voice of righteousness is shouted down with the hammering voice of wickedness.
The morally correct Christian words of those who would speak up are 'stolen away' by the loud, opinionated, vindictive and polarising cancel culture.
The believer is set aside by righteousness, his ways safely removed from the eyes and understandings of the wicked - until he speaks.
The ever increasing wicked hold no interest in light, are unable to see darkness and suppress the truth that is plain to all.
It is our loving Lord's kindness that draws the repentant to a safer place, so that we know well not to learn and approve of wickedness - nor practise it.
Let righteousness be your refuge.
Dear Father, please give me wisdom and courage, and a discernment to know when to seek You alone. Fill me each day with your Holy Spirit that only Your light will ever dwell in me. Amen
There is no joy in sin where the heart is set on sainthood.
Stand firm in ALL the will of God, mature and fully assured. (Colossians 4:12)
