"LAWLESSNESS" from the Prince of Preachers
Lawlessness:
Take away all thought that God sees and hears, and you have removed the underlying basis upon which morality itself is to be built up.
A godless world is a lawless world.
Anarchy comes in when the fear of God goes out; and all the mischiefs that you can imagine, and much more, rush in like a flood.
Lawlessness multiplies because men do only what is right in their own sight.
It is with proud abandon mankind holds such a remarkably ignorant and foolish measure.
'They will pass through the land greatly distressed and hungry. And when they are hungry, they will be enraged and will speak contemptuously against their king and God, and turn their faces upward. And they will look to the earth, but behold, distress and darkness, the gloom of anguish. And they will be thrown into thick darkness.' (Isaiah 8:21-22)
FATHER, lead me in Your truth, teach me Your fear, and keep me in Your righteousness. Amen
