Jesus stacks up!

The transformational journey of Jesus' death and resurrection is the only, and almost always denied—message of salvation's one truth. ~ anonymous

The evidence stacks up to humble hearts, and not the proud or the argumentative...

The necessity of salvation stacks up from every news report ever heard or spoken...

The practise of living and breathing aches for a safer, better, healthier and peaceful place...

... but who grasps this, who will understand?

There is a forever unnamed centurion, a purveyor of recognition and truth who once grasped Jesus correctly. His name is unimportant, but his words are not.

The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, "Surely this was a righteous man."  (Luke 23:47)

Righteousness is not recognisable to an unredeemed human spirit.

The Cross proves the world as unrighteous, hence the Centurion's observation has drawn an unseen, indelible verbal line of truth in the ancient and modern sands of time. His deft finger unmistakeably etched a truth that will never be lost to wind-blown dunes, storms or remoteness.

This soldier's commands had echoed countless times to 100 men, and now they still resound as true words leaping from the pages of living Scripture because:

The longer I looked at the Cross, the more I realized that no man and no woman could ever love me as He has. ~ Brennan Manning
