Filled by Faith
Soul Snack 11/12 ... Filled by Faith
There has been (and continues to be) a spiritual sleight of hand for at least a century within Christendom - knowledge has become equated with faith. The subsequent axiom of the Christian life has become but rarely articulated is - the greater the knowledge, the greater the faith. This is WRONG - faith does NOT equate to knowledge. Knowledge is in fact a competitor to faith. (Remember God's clear instruction to Adam in Eden to not eat from The Tree of Knowledge in Gen 2:17?)
Christian's still spend life filling themselves with knowledge instead of being Filled by Faith
We live by faith, not by sight. (2 Cor 5:7)
