Abiding in Peace
Soul Snack 69/12 ... Abiding in Peace
Have you ever felt the burden of guilt too great to seek God's presence?
A deeply sinful heart is to be of no impediment to moving into God's presence.
We were God's enemy but Jesus made the truce, gave the grace and lived the love.
God sees my sins and your sins but His love-pile is still so much higher than our sin-pile.
The height of His love always exceeds the depth of our sins.
Others may spurn you or me because they know our sins (or they perceive that we have wronged them), but God doesn't do this to any who would diligently seek Him.
We are now living at peace with God.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Roms 5:1)
I wonder if any person could ever have known God's love and peace so well if Adam had not first sinned?
Yep, let each of us strive to live that sin free life, for this is holiness - but when we fail the justified remain at peace with God.
