Jesus is mad for me

Soul Snack S12 ... A mad messiah!

An internal tangent interrupted his empty reflections.

His thinking was being tinkered with! His “hard drive” was approaching refreshment.

The messiah of his meditation would no longer be mediated by white robes and anachronistic black gowns. His messiah would no longer be engaged via parsonical voices or brutalized by the pulpit.

Grace was now his call to Christian action—not guilt.

Soberly he reflected,  “Wow, this tangent is rapidly becoming no tangent, but instead how I can operate.”
His time of stillness had led him to a Holy Spirit-induced fresh thinking.

His messiah was so mad that He would permit self-torture. His messiah was so innocent that death held no reign! This mad and innocent messiah grasped him anew and appealed for relationship.

Finally, sealed on his knees with the supernatural, it dawned upon him! Jesus' death meant divine approval and acceptance of him—his own condemnation nailed to Calvary.

This mad messiah had always desired a relationship of grace, for guilt never invites relationship, just duty.
He had long learned the shallow church-driven and guilt-ridden routines of faith. He had yearned to plunge into the depths of faith. Now he finally understood that a domesticated Christianity means a neutered Christ!

Compelled and still on his knees, he releases guilt to hell and is refreshed in the grace from heaven.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Roms 8:1)

Today’s Soul Snippet:

Grace = giving life to the dead.
