I am still unfinished ...
Soul Snack 36/10 ... Finding life.
To those who are just getting a little older, the seal of a satisfied life may seem elusive and distant.
The striving for what could be or the lamenting for what has not been can dull the senses and pollute the present.
Life is lived on a continuum of both change and the unexpected.
Past unmet goals can become no more than mere memory or they can become the driver for new ones.
I realize that there is no sense in lamenting the person that I might have been .
Gone are the days when I might conceive of being selected for sporting honors or awarded superior academic accolades.
I am who I am; I am where I am; because the Creator of the Universe still has a plan for me.
And even more spectacular is the realization that His work in me is not finished – and, therefore, neither am I.
"From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live." (Acts 17:26)
