How Can We Ever Comprehend The Holy Spirit?#
I will ask the Father and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. He is the Spirit of Truth. (John 14:16-17a)
I cannot do the Holy Spirit justice. Three in One and One in Three. Eternally in community with the Father and Son. The One who Jesus sent to us after He ascended. The One within me who knows me better than myself. The One who convicts me of sin.
How do I reconcile that the One within me delights in me, flaws, faults and so much more?
How can I ever comprehend the one who counsels when I am feeling lost, desperate or unworthy?
The One who lifts my eyes and my spirit when I become too self-centered or focused on the things of earth? The One who prays for me when I can't with sighs beyond my capacities? The One who brings my Bible to life and teaches me the deeper things.

We don't need to understand, but we do need to be grateful.
