Grave Control#
These thoughts come from the green side of the grass, and are now poignant reflections of a Godly man who had gained that heart of wisdom:
When all is said and done we humans are really children in a world plagued by sickness, loneliness and death. Control of life is as elusive as a lottery win.
Age, if it is accompanied by wisdom will teach us that we are much more vulnerable and confused than we thought in our youth. We might know the way to the toilet at night but we haven't a clue how to get out of the grave. The older one gets the more important that becomes - without life nothing else matters!
I seem to remember that the best years of my life were when I didn't feel I had to be in control. Something I've rediscovered since I was adopted by the Dad who put the stars into place and opened the grave.#
Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. (Psalm 90:12)
