The topsy-turvey God

There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with so and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. (Luke 16:19-21)

Would you like your life/your world turned upside down? The Man of Sorrow died for the men of sorrow.

A message for those who seek Jesus, no matter how faltering, frail or fearful you might be. Seek Him 1st, seek Him only and seek Him always, He is life's great reverser.

For those who think poor of themselves or who others think poor of - we always need the God-sized view of self and not the man sized view to get life correct.

Jesus only looks at the heart and never the pedigree, wealth, beauty, skills or popularity. God's best business is the reversal business. He is the God of the turn-around, the topsy-turvey God of making things upside down, right-side up.

What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight. (Luke 16:16c)

The Last Word:

Earth's stations aren't necessarily permanent for neither the wealthy, or the poor.
