God is STILL God!
You are forgiving and good, O Lord, abounding in love to all who call to You. (Psalm 86:5)
God is STILL a good God even when the dark skies menace, hanging too long and too low!
Hurling around a Christian's soul, piercing mind and marrow doubt-leading trouble arrives. This 'doubt' whispers from Eve in Eden. Yet, Christians are people who do know and understand.
When a disciple frets not the storms, they are free from Eve's unholy doubt and thus the burden of lament. They are free to weep in the sunshine and dance in the rain. Outward circumstances will test faith, only to strengthen it.
Doubt cannot modify truth, but can change its perception. God continues as a good, loving and righteous God, in Him there is no guile.
Bring joy to Your servant, for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. (Psalm 86:4)
The Last Word:
Hardship is the authentication, not the dilution of YOUR faith.
