Soul Snack 9/194 ... A rear vision life!
The pursuit of the past or the call of yesterday can be very difficult to divest.
Both past pleasures and previous pains unite in an inviting chorus to either seek more or to flee!
The walls of protection erected so securely in a previous time can exile my future health. They are walls from pain that prevent me going forward and seeking the new and the good.
It is an axiom that - "fears from my past can cripple my present and destroy my future!"
To go forward well, I need to be protected from an undeniable (and maybe even continual) voice of my past.
It is too easy for life's rear vision mirror to steer me along the paths of previous indulgence.
No one yet has mastered driving a car by looking in the rear vision mirror.
