Fed by Ravens
The Lord feeds His own, those He sets aside - differently.
So Elijah did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. (1 Kings 17:5-6)
Alone Elijah sat by a stream and was fed by heaven's ravens.
Mankind sits besides professors amidst a host of other pupils.
Unlike the professor, God uses no scattergun approach for His appointed students. He invites those with no pedigree to accept His offer and withdraw to His temple, to His presence.
There is a feeding by the streams of solitude that no classroom of man can contemplate approaching, or no professor write a curriculum for.
Those fed by God's ravens will challenge kings, climb mountaintops and complete the miraculous. The powers of evil cannot resist them. They will run and not grow weary.
The streams of solitude are an entirely exclusive and tailored equipping of Heaven.
If you find yourself more drawn toward prayer than promotion, more toward humility than hype, it is evident that God is working in you, preparing you for a new and fresh anointing. ~ Linda Bennett
