Divine delight.
Soul Snack 10/10 ... The Seeker and the Sower
The delights that are mine are not necessarily the delights of the Divine.
Both the seeker and the sower stretch out for a preferred future. The present has it's pain and limitations. This simply fuels the ubiquitous wish that my future won't.
Whether just wishfully seeking a good future or deliberately sowing for one, the goal is identical - it is the pursuit of the delights that are mine.
The paradox of life for both the seeker and the sower is that the things that are desired the most actually become the most elusive.
God has written this into the very fabnc of time. His counsel to both the seeker and the sower is that, 'the delights that are Mine are actually the delights that are divine.'
It is only in the wholehearted surrender to God, the grateful acceptance of total personal need that I actually receive 'the delights that are mine'. It is then that I have made His delights mine.
