Awake O Sleeper
The apostle Paul does not hold back when he writes:
Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you. (Ephesians 5:14)
Flee the love of money, that age-old root of all kinds of evil, and pursue righteousness. Lay hold of the Eternal and ignore the temporal. Strive towards that brightest of all tomorrows. Refuse to permit the wonders of today to blind you to the true and waiting betterments of a believer's lasting tomorrow.
Seed righteousness while you can, and tread out its safe paths to choose life. There is no danger in righteousness. No lions or ferocious beasts walk there, the unclean do not travel it. The highway is the Way of Holiness, here sorrow and sadness shall flee away.
Do not be dissuaded by the beckoning lights that draw your eyes. These are lies, deceits to pull you into sin.
The work of Christ, the love of the Father through His Son, is to strip mankind of the garment of corruption, and replace it with Jesus' mantle of righteousness.
Lay hold of the only life that is truly life. There is no second chance. Never let it go.

The Lord will lay low pompous pride, and the skill of their hands. (Isaiah 25:11)
